What should you check before opening an account?

1. Read the current terms and account requirements before transferring funds.
2. Distinguish an order you submit from an order that has actually matched.
3. Compare prices only for contracts with matching settlement rules; inspect available size and total costs.

How do you calculate the actual cost?

Read the exact order preview, applicable fees, and settlement rules. A winning contract’s payout includes the return of your purchase cost; it is not all profit. Use the payout calculator for an illustrative scenario, then verify real charges on the platform.

How do straight-trade and parlay fees differ?

ProphetX (opens in a new tab)’s September 24, 2026 fee page, version 1.2, lists a 2% fee on net gains per market for straight trades. Parlays use a separate linked schedule. Do not apply 2% to the stake or assume it is the parlay rate.

Which account and payment names must match?

The June 10 terms require the funding method to belong to the account holder and the names to match. They describe U.S.-dollar funding unless otherwise permitted. The current payment options and processing times still need an account-specific check.

How can withdrawals and dormant-account rules affect access?

This review has not verified a complete withdrawal timetable. The terms also contain a dormant-account provision tied to 60 consecutive days without trading. Ask the operator to clarify its effect on access to funds before relying on the account for longer-term cash storage.

How should you calculate a gains-based fee?

Our general calculator assumes the same entered fee total whether the contract wins or loses. A fee assessed on net gains can behave differently. Treat the calculator as an illustration, and calculate the actual ProphetX fee separately for each applicable outcome.

The reviewed fee page describes 2% on net gains per market for straight trades. It does not describe a blanket 2% charge on every stake.
